Regulatory activity associated with financial stability and systemic risk is focusing on the intractable relationship between data and risk management. Financial institutions are under mandate to implement a data control environment, harmonize data across the information lifecycle and support scenario-based risk analysis.
This has pushed the practice of data content management to the top of the agenda of financial institutions and reinforced the importance of adopting standard criteria for measuring data quality.
This session will focus on the status of the Data Management Maturity (DMM) assessment methodology as well as explore what firms are doing to benchmark capability and implement data governance.
